Alle tollen Locations, die Arles zu bieten hat, mussten für das ASK-ME TEAM herhalten. Der le jardin de l’hopital (Van Gogh, Gauguin) und die Arena wurden kurzerhand in professionelle Fotostudios verwandelt.
Die Hitze in Arles ist für Nordeuropäer nur schwer zu ertragen. Man lernt aber schnell und macht es wie die Einheimischen: man läuft immer auf der Schattenseite oder man muss es so machen wie diese Japanische Touristin: bis zu den Haarspitzen vermummt. Ob das wirklich hilft?
Die Bläsertuppe “Fanfare” (man begegnete Ihnen in allen Gassen und auf allen Plätzen) wusste sich jedenfalls perfekt zu helfen und suchte unter dem SUN-SWATTER PRO des ASK-ME TEAMS ein wenig Erleichterung. Allerdings verpasste unser Photograph Johann ihnen eine volle Breitseite Mittagssonne von seitlich links mit dem Reflektor PRO SILVER. Perfektes Licht at “HIGH NOON” – 12:00 Mittags. Und dann haben sich alle noch ein wenig Mühe gegeben und ein Cover für die “Fanfare” war geboren.

The brass band “Fanfare” (to be found in all the alleys and on the squares) knew how to help themselves – they sought relief under the ASK-ME TEAM’s SUN-SWATTER PRO. However, our photographer Johann dumped a whole load of midday sun on them from the left with the PRO SILVER reflector. Perfect light at “HIGH NOON.” But then everyone pitched in and soon created a cover for “Fanfare.”
